R.O.Z Brings The Emblem to CTV’s Your Morning Winnipeg

Fresh off the release of his new album The Emblem, R.O.Z appeared on CTV Your Morning Winnipeg on Monday, for a live television interview and special performance. During the segment, R.O.Z spoke about the inspiration behind the 13-track project, sharing insights into his creative process and the journey that shaped the album, which celebrates both his artistic evolution and EMB Music Group's 15-year legacy.

The interview also highlighted Winnipeg's deep significance to both R.O.Z and EMB Music Group as the city where the label was established. Winnipeg also played a pivotal role in the early stages of R.O.Z’s career and the growth of the local hip-hop scene. The host reflected on his contributions during Winnipeg's golden era of hip-hop and his long-standing efforts in championing Afrobeats in Canada, helping introduce and elevate the genre long before its recent mainstream rise. The conversation also touched on Winnipeg preparing to host the upcoming JUNO Awards, with the possibility of The Emblem earning future JUNO recognition.
