R.O.Z

R.O.Z is a Ghanaian-Canadian artist and the owner of the Canadian indie label, EMB Music Group (EMB Inc.) R.O.Z, is a rising HipHop and Afrobeats artist known both locally and internationally and has had some major accolades so far in his music career. Some of which opportunities led to featured singles/videos with Afrobeats giants: Mr. Eazi, Davido and Quamina MP.

R.O.Z has shared the stage with several of HipHop's biggest acts such as: Nas, J Cole, Big Sean, Rich Homie Quan, T.I., Tyga, YG, French Montana and Cam’ron. R.O.Z has toured Europe, Africa, USA and Canada with Davido on the "30 Billion World Tour" and Europe with PARTYNEXTDOOR on the "Infinity Tour”, he also toured Canada with Jadakiss, Pusha T and Fabolous with opening performances throughout each city and country. In addition to these, R.O.Z was the first Afrobeats artist to headline/showcase in China at Sanya's ISY Festival. In 2022, he signed a label partnership deal with Sony Music West Africa for the Afrobeats sector of his music, marking the first of its kind between SMEWA and a North American Indie. This deal led to his summer hit single ft. Quamina MP, "Talking To Me" reaching No. 8 on Apple Music's Top 100 in Ghana. In 2023 he opened for Davido on the "Timeless Tour" at Toronto's Budweiser Stage and performed the EMB halftime show at the Canada Life Centre for a Winnipeg Sea Bears CEBL game.

Known for pioneering and championing Afrobeats in Canada, in 2024, R.O.Z led EMB to a nomination for the Canada Live Music Awards Brand/Program of the Year, he also received a nomination for the Ghana Entertainment Awards USA as Best Music Act GH/Canada. In 2025 he won the Global Sound Award (Afrobeats) at the inaugural PB Awards in Toronto. Most recently, he opened for Davido on his “5IVE Alive” tour at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto as well as headlining the EMB 15th Anniversary Presents: R.O.Z & Friends Show in Winnipeg. R.O.Z celebrated he and EMB’s 15th anniversary in the music industry in 2025 and has an album on the way to commemorate this journey through life and music.
