Originally from Kinshasa, Congo, Joe brings a dynamic fusion of African rhythm, global sounds, languages and lyrical flair that has already captured international attention. Since stepping into the music scene in 2020, he has carved out a loyal fan base through his attention grabbing performances and genre-bending sound.

With strong roots in performance and production, Joe Gez is more than just a talented artist—he’s a cultural bridge-builder and a creative force ready to expand the EMB sound into new territories. His presence marks an important chapter for our label as we continue to champion global Afro-influenced music and elevate the rising talent of BIPOC artists across Canada and beyond.
